Stiltz Duo Alta

The Space Saving Modern Home Lift

An innovative elevator with an open feel the Stiltz Duo Alta is a stylish and compact home elevator built to provide access and ease of installation. Adaptable, user-friendly and made to fit in any space the Duo Alta elevator is the latest in modern accessibility lifts for homes. With safe and comfortable travel between two landings, the lift can be installed while using minimal floor space. The well-planned design allows for a more flexible placement and planning process over traditional elevators requiring full shaftway construction. The shaftless design and open style are also perfect for maintaining a view while traveling between floors.

Design Freedom

The elevator can be placed anywhere in a home that has standard 8′ ceilings and does not require a wall directly behind it for installation. The Duo is perfect for installation in just about any existing home and if preferred can even be installed neatly in a corner. The process of deciding where to place the elevator is simplified with the use of a floor template that is exactly the size needed for the elevator installation.

The Stiltz Alta Lift is designed for travel between two floors and has a weight capacity of 375 lbs. The Stiltz lift Duo Alta can carry two people up to one floor in about 30 seconds and is ideal for limited space applications.

Stiltz Duo Alta Price and Lead Time

The Stiltz Duo Alta will cost $27,000-$29,000 for the elevator and installation. The installation will require a floor opening, 220 VAC electric and a phone line supplied by your contractor. The average lead time for this elevator is 6-8 weeks.

Duo Cab Dimensions

The Duo is the smaller model of the Stiltz elevators with an interior dimension of 31″ wide and 28″ deep. The lift offers plenty of room for a single rider and can even fit two average-sized adults. The larger Trio Alta model is designed for three riders and can be used as a wheelchair elevator. The Trio lift also has a higher weight capacity and optional thru cab design with an additional opening.

This lift has half and full height cab door option that is interlocked and is made to match the finish of the lift. You will also receive two wireless remote controls to call or send the lift remotely between floors. The remotes can come in handy to send heavy items from one floor to another.

Features

The cab has modern LED lighting with sensors programmed to turn on once you have entered the lift. In the event of a power outage, the lift will automatically switch to battery backup power and descend to the lower landing. For an extra layer in safety, the elevator entrance is protected with a full-height light curtain when fitted with a half-height door.

Minimal Construction Requirements

One of the great things about the Stiltz home lift is construction for installation of the elevator is kept to a minimum. A contractor will need to cut a floor opening to our specifications, provide electric and a phone line then you’re ready for installation.

Manufacturer’s Warranty and service

Your Stiltz elevator will also come with a standard two-year manufactures parts warranty and a one-year installation warranty by Innovative Lifts. After the warranty periods have expired you’ll also have the option to purchase a maintenance agreement for annual service of your Stiltz home lift.
